If you have 1 good idea or write 1 good phrase, people will steal it (even wealthy well-known people & companies have done this) ThatsLife. Success that sticks often requires not just 1 good idea, but a stream of many. DontQuit! Get known for *many* good things, not just 1.
Goals. Yes, you can try to make your life & environment “perfectly suitable” to achieve your goal. But you become dependent on these circumstances to achieve it. Real effectiveness lies in becoming disciplined & focused enough to achieve goals regardless of the circumstances.

Many people who say they support uniqueness still negatively judge & actively reject things that are different & openly mock creative displays of personalexpression. If you truly support “different thinking”, positive feedback & acceptance is far more congruent than mockery.

People are influenced by example. Years of bad behavior on reality TV, abusive internet comments, a focus on superficiality & fame, and a lack of ethics, logic, empathy & emotional intelligence in leadership roles have all played their part in giving people permission to imitate.

People who play it safe as a means to be liked (or get likes) by only promoting or supporting what’s already popular instead of what’s actually potent & meaningful are the bricklayers of the status quo & a plague on progress.

Make a mess? Clean it
Affect someone in a way you didn’t intend? Apologize

Goals. If you have to console yourself after quitting, feel the need to play up being disappointed, or feel guilty when people say “It’s ok, you tried”, the chances are good you quit too easily.
You may be disappointed in quitting, but if you truly tried, you’ll also be proud.

Goals. Don’t quit when you’re angry. Don’t quit when you’re tired. Don’t quit when you’re upset. Don’t quit when you’re disappointed.
Only quit if you feel satisfied with your efforts & *truly* believe that moving on is in your best interest.
