Not everyone will understand your journey. That’s fine. It’s not their journey to make sense of. It’s yours.

Imagine a better education system

ImagineIf teachers were regarded with the same high degree of respect (& compensated accordingly) as other higher-paying professions that often have less of a long-term impact as teachers have the potential to.

ImagineIf students were allowed more flexibility to pursue knowledge & skills that truly interested them instead of being forced through a system seeking to make workforce clones.

ImagineIf teachers were encouraged & able to make classes & education engaging & fun and inspired students to seek a life of learning & SelfImprovement beyond school.

ImagineIf if those who reached the highest levels of office & leadership had better than the bare minimum of reading & writing skills and understood how to use a computer or how to reason with logic.

ImagineIf we put as much money & effort into actually educating people as companies do in convincing consumers they need to have, do, watch & ultimately *buy* all the right things in order to be cool, sexy, appealing, healthy & happy.

ImagineIf there was less emphasis on mindless & endlessly repetitive TV, processed foods, and the “necessity” of alcohol in people’s lives and more emphasis on mentalhealth, healthyliving & personalgrowth.

ImagineIf instead of constantly fighting each other, we actually put money & effort into helping people who need it regardless of their social, economic or political status.

ImagineIf after money no longer made any significant difference in billionaire’s lives, they put their energy towards bettering humanity instead of simply increasing their wealth. See, for example, @elonmusk

ImagineIf more people earned the attention they get for being a goodexample & setting high standards (See, for example, @therock) than they did for creating controversy, being hateful, or making spectacles of themselves for 15 minutes of fame.

Don’t let discouragement keep you from reaching your goals

Don’t let discouragement keep you from reaching goals within your grasp. Understand that facing setbacks & being discouraged doesn’t have to lead to quitting. Change your tactics & strategy as needed, but only quit if you know it’s best for you. Otherwise, keep pushing yourself.

Focus on providing value

Lessons Learned from The Path Less Traveled by Zero Dean

Too many people focus on making money rather than on providing value. Focusing on one often emphasizes greed & leaves you wanting. Focusing on the other often emphasizes selflessness & creates fulfillment & provides recipients with something worth paying for. Choose wisely.

Controversy is easy to find

Lessons Learned from The Path Less Traveled by Zero Dean

In today’s world, controversy is easy to find. If you want quality content, you’ll have to look harder. SocialMedia & themedia drive controversy & clickbait because it creates engagement. Don’t let yourself be manipulated like that. Keep your focus & attention in check.

Try to think long-term

Lessons Learned from The Path Less Traveled by Zero Dean

Be mindful of seeking immediate results & instantgratification. Just because you don’t get results exactly when you want them doesn’t mean you never will. Be patient. Little efforts can add up to big things. In a world that only pays attention to today, try to think longterm.
