In late August 2019, I departed Southern California to embark on a cross-country tour to interview people for a video documentary series & podcast about resilience and hope<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I adopted #VanLife as a way to conserve resources as well as the freedom it provided me to go where I wanted without a firm itinerary. I became familiar with boondocking and how amazing the experience of dispersed camping could be.<\/p>\n

A week into my trip, I was the sole resident at a boondocking site in Utah and woke to an amazing Utah sunrise.<\/p>\n
